TEREZA BEKEROVA - HEAD TENNIS PROFESSIONAL
Tereza Bekerova oversees all aspects of instruction and programs at Evergreen Tennis. She brings a depth of experience, including two years as Director of Junior Tennis at Evergreen Tennis preceded by three years as the Junior Development Director at the University of Utah. Prior to that, Tereza was Assistant Coach for Women’s Tennis at the University of Utah.
Tereza started playing tennis at the age of three with her mother, a tennis Pro in a small club in Prague, Czech Republic. She competed across Europe, always ranking among the top three players in her age division nationally and top 100 ITF. She began playing professionally on the WTA tour at eighteen.
After two years on the tour, she earned a scholarship to the University of Utah, where she played number one singles and doubles, achieving high NCAA rankings in both. Tereza received yet another scholarship to study Sport & Exercise Science from Leeds Beckett University in England, where she completed her Masters Degree.
Tereza has gained valuable experience around the world at the highest levels as both coach and player.
Most recently, she earned the local title as 2022 Irvington Open Women's Singles Champion.
