Mark Kucharski brings over 30 years of tennis teaching and management experience. Mark is USPTA Certified Professional 1 and TPA Canadian certified. Over the years, Mark has directed every aspect of tennis programs, including tennis leagues, junior and adult tournaments, and ladies team tennis. He has coached tennis players of all ages and levels. As a High Performance Coach, Mark traveled with his top ranked students to attend Junior Tournaments all over North America and across the world.
As a young adult, Mark played for The University of Physical Education in Krakow, Poland and the University of Hamburg, Germany. In 1988, Mark immigrated to Vancouver, British Columbia and began teaching tennis at the River Club. Mark longed to move to the US and got an opportunity in Long Beach, California in the Billie Jean King Tennis Center, where Mark founded TopSpin Tennis Academy. Later, Mark explored Florida, the nation’s tennis capital, and most recently worked as Head Tennis Professional at EastPointe Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
Mark is married to his wife Halina, who is also a USPTA certified tennis coach. They have two grown children, Sylvia and Michael, who are both national and international ranked tennis players. Mark and Halina recently moved to the Pacific Northwest to be closer to their family. Mark enjoys being actively involved in the tennis community, supporting local tennis groups, and donating time and tennis lessons to local schools and charities.
